I LOVE seeing other people’s classrooms…

I’m really enjoying this! I especially love the “bee inspired” slide show. I LOVE seeing other people’s classrooms and gleaming ideas from them! I know my classroom is always changing because I get bored or see something I simply must do. lol It’s also nice to see people in the live chats and actually put faces to names.

I have learned something to take back to my class…

I need to continue to say thank you for sharing and providing everyone the ability to exchange their ideas. Every time I hear you I always feel I have learned something to take back to my class… Thank you again for your shares.

I am excited to continue learning…

So many great ideas that I want to incorporate into my new preschool year: Keeping centers simple and engaging, allowing child time to play without pulling them into teacher-led groups, focusing on building connections and little victories, and keeping state standards in mind while planning. I am excited to continue learning….

I have learned so much and come away with SO many ideas…

The Hive has reminded me that teaching is truly a collaborative profession. We can only get better at what we do if we work in harmony with colleagues and parents. I have learned so much and come away with SO many ideas and resources it’s unbelievable! Thank you, Deborah Stewart for keeping me humble and reminding me of what’s important!

Introducing Deborah Stewart, M.Ed.

I’ve been working and teaching in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years. As the owner and a teacher in my own part-time, private preschool called The Children’s Studio, I’ve always had a deep passion for teaching and working with young children. I’ve documented and shared my passion with millions of readers around the world through my blog and other social networking communities for over 10 years.

At the heart of that passion is the belief that young children learn best through play and exploration and every thing I do in my classroom reflects that belief. It brings me great joy to share real life, and proven practices with other teachers, parents, and leaders across the field of early childhood education. And that’s what The Honey Bee Hive is all about. Join me today.

I’m regularly invited to speak at conferences all across the United States. Here’s a list of conferences I’ve spoken at over the past year and a few that are coming up.

Thank you so much for this whole unit on schedules…

Hi Deborah. Thank you so much for this whole unit on schedules. This is just what I needed. I am opening my in-home preschool in September, and still needed to write out my class schedule. This was so very helpful. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to share your knowledge and experience with us.

This… has made the most impact on my teaching…

Something that I have been learning throughout our 3 months is the importance of being intentional. Whether that is in planning, setting up centers, choosing a book… we could see this concept in the back stage pass when you… took the time to intentionally place each item… being mindful of what would most benefit the children. This has been my biggest takeaway and what has made the most impact on my teaching. Thank you!

I appreciate all the inspiration you have introduced…

Deborah, I have learned so much from you the past two years so thank you! I have implemented singing to take us through all our transitions. We sign in through the different ways you have introduced… My centers are much more intentional because of your great ideas… I appreciate all the inspiration you have introduced. Well done!

Frequently Asked Questions

Our content is delivered on a weekly basis with new topics covered every month. Content will remain available as long as your membership remains active and in good standing.

You actually never fall behind in the Hive. While we do release new content every week, it’s designed and written so that you can take it in on your own timetable. You will also receive a weekly ‘Beeminder’ to let you know what’s coming up in the week ahead. Those are delivered every Sunday or early Monday depending where in the world you live.

The short answer is, yes! However you will find that the Hive is much more than a place to get certificates. Every Studio (workshops) offers at least one 1-hour certificate once successfully completed.

Here at the Honey Bee Hive we offer ‘studios’. Our intention is to create an environment that gives you a broad view of the topics we cover every month. Our ‘Studios’ are written as a part of the whole of what we provide each month which is why we don’t call them workshops. They are designed to inspire you to creative solutions in your classroom.

As part of the rich content we deliver for the topics we cover each month you will find handouts and various other downloadables for your classroom use. While all of our downloadables are printable we do not focus on printables as a product. The value of the Honey Bee Hive is the richness of the content that covers tactics and strategies you can use to solve any challenge in the classroom.

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time in your ‘My Account’ area.

Let’s grow together!

What you get…

As a member of the Honey Bee Hive you’ll get more than just great content. You’ll come away with clearer direction in every area of your classroom. And, as you grow in the Beeline For Success, your students will benefit too, they will grow in confidence and independence and develop amazing community in your classroom. Join us today.
